Lyricism : Tame Impala

Said the voice from afar,
Don't you know it doesn't
have to be so hard? Waiting for
everyone else around to agree,
might take too long

Thangs.

Earlier this week i thoroughly enjoyed my meet-up with amazing australian designer Anna Lorenzetto.

Anna lent me a solid amount of insight which caused much giggling whilst sketching.

"...I Blog Corrected"

Yesterday i posted some of Sam Jinks' sculptural work and mentioned seeing it at Brooklyn Museum years prior - i was mistaken.

Thanks to Stan's comment [ below ] i mixed Sam Jinks with Ron Mueck's work [ image above ] .

See kids? Shotty fact checking doesnt pay off. ha.
And i extra-chuckle because i titled the post 'The Details'.

The Details

Australian artist Sam Jinks' ultra realistic silicone sculptures are....uhm....ultra realistic.

I stumbled across his exhibition at Brooklyn Museum a few years ago and was shocked by the pieces' details. Those damn 'Please Do Not Touch' signs did hinder my experience, though.

Im loving this woman's work. Sydney, Australia based fashion & costume designer Tina Kalivas has a stack of work boasting a sophisticated range.

Here are more pulls...

Deep and flat all at the same time.
Great stuff.
