It ( Almost ) Happened

Ok, so here's something of a wonderful bump-in.

Whilst attending this year's DesignMiami/ i glanced across the sea of exhibitors and locked eyes with my most recent 'Gimme' post:

WHUT?! In the flesh!

I had to - very carefully - experience a sitting:

Damn.

And Mr. Danant was kind enough to talk shop with us. i'm looking forward to checking out his Chelsea gallery next month.

Getting out was way harder than getting in.

How They Do

I think one of the perks i miss most from living on South Beach is the supercar gazing. There were so many As Seen On TV cars at a ridiculously high frequency zipping up and down Alton Road every, single, day.

On this last visit i was thrilled to see that the wealthy are still jumping into these dream machines after docking their yachts.

Design Miami/ is an annual fair exhibiting many of the world's most innovative [ and best represented ] industrial designers.

Here are some highlights:

This year's Design Of The Year Award went to Konstantin Grcic. Uhm, this guy's the calmest kind of crazy.
